Dr. Justin Settle is a native of Southern Illinois, raised in Herrin. He started working in his father’s dental laboratory at the age of 16, learning from this very early age to make dental crowns, laminates, dentures and partials. He graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the American Dental Association; Illinois State Dental Association; and Southern Illinois Dental Society. Dr. Lawler sold this practice to Dr. Settle in the fall of 2005 and he is committed to the same impeccable care that Dr. Lawler has established. He treats each patient based on the highest ideals of dentistry, as if they were a member of his own family.

We begin with a Comprehensive Exam and Cleaning. The examination includes:
- An oral cancer screening
- A complete head and neck exam including the jaw muscles
- An analysis of your bite
- A prophylaxis (cleaning)
- A cosmetic assessment of the teeth and smile
- Only necessary x-rays and photographs may also be taken
Dr. Settle will review the findings from the examination and formulate a treatment plan designed especially for you. We will review the fees, insurance benefits, deductibles and the patient portions due at each visit.
